COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher. Namaste was originally brewed at our pub in Rehoboth Beach with our Italian friend Leo from Birra del Borgo. It was a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production) in 2009.

Solid wit style and crisp flavor profile. Taste is not as dynamic as I had hoped but a safe approach.

Straw, light cloudy, thin white head, and mild lacing. Wheat, spice, lemon, and mild floral aroma. Medium bodied, wheat, spice and lemon flavor. Decent balance, dry spice carbonation. Tongue zing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pale golden yellow. Nose is spice herbal with notes of grain. Flavor is some banana and lemon. Refreshing. Dry Finish.

Light yellow pour. Cardboard and spice nose. Wet dog. Soapy foam. Subtle carb. I get a tad of the lemongrass, and some brightness from the orange. Easy to drink, but not remarkable.

Pour from 12 oz. bottle. Scents of yellow raisin, white wine, caramel, toffee, champagne, and apple juice. There is also a lemon sharpness to the aroma. Pours a pale yellow or straw color. I poured the beer in two separate halves. The first half was clear; the second hazy, but rather lightly so. A column of bubbles rises at a moderate to rapid speed. Small to moderate amount of off-white or light gray-ish head. Looks good and appealing. I pick up pickle brine in the flavor, but without the sourness. In fact, the taste is a bit savory, surprisingly. Biscuit, perhaps even buttered biscuit, and cardboard flavors with a lemon finish. Surprisingly dry taste. Light to medium body. Lively and frothy in the palate. Overall, this beer is enjoyable enough but not particularly good, even within a style that often fails to impress.

Pours a nice gold and is not translucent at all. A small head. The aroma is earthy and the taste and finish are quite smooth. An excellent rendition of a Belgian White which is the closest replication to Hoegarden I have tasted.

Tap at Lazy Dog. Pours a hazy gold with a bit of off white head. Aroma of wheat and hints of spice. Taste is very subtle, more wheat and pine.

Bottle. Very active cloudy bright yellow with a thin white bubbly head. Aroma is grass, lemon, wheat, spice, and orange peel. The taste a follows suit and adds more lemon zest, white wine notes, and wheat malts at first. The mouthfeel is bright and clean with high carb. Full bodied at first, middle is refreshing and crisp, the finish comes back strong with a bit of a sticky syrup feel. Basically this reminds me of a high level, complex blue moon. Good stuff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught > Gingerman. Pretty darn solid, maybe a tad boring but that's being picky. This is an easy drinker. The wheat really stands out. Personally, I'd like the fruit and spices to shine more but a good beer nevertheless. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(bottle) clear yellow colour with a small white head; aroma of noble hops, bit skunky, then spice, wheat; clean balanced flavour; quite ordinary
