COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher. Namaste was originally brewed at our pub in Rehoboth Beach with our Italian friend Leo from Birra del Borgo. It was a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production) in 2009.

Bottle to pint glass Okay...thank you bottle, I get coriander, orange and lemon and let's throw in wheat and light dough. It's all there. It's not looking too appetizing as a sludgy yellow but it does have a nice bright white head. The taste is acidic a little bit sweet and some late back of the tongue bitterness. Medium bodied and very creamy. Nice, but I expect something spectacular in the Dogfish Head big bottle and this is just good.

Bottle - big foamy head, hazy medium straw color with lots of carbonation, lemony aroma and flavor with a refreshing Belgian spice kick - would be great in the summer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Hay, lemon grass, ginger, yeast and some spices on the nose. Pale clear yellow with a think head. Tastes quite similar to the smell, with some very light pleasant bitterness. A great beer in league with Sorachi Ace and Blanche de Chambly.

One finger of head. A cloudy banana colored body. Smell of orange, honey, lemon and coriander. Nice and balanced. Taste is mild overall. Some sweetness with a good lemon bitterness. Good, but mild. Smooth texture, low carbonation and light body. Tasty and interesting, but not really a daily (or monthly) drinker for me.

Draft at alehouse. Cloudy straw with bare head. Light and citrusy, with some herbs. Decent, but thin.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a slight white head on it. Nose is actually lighter than I thought it would be, but has a fair amount citrus in it. Taste is fairly light and citrusy. Not bad.

rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - NOV 13, 2012
Draft at Fermentation. Hazy pale yellow pour with a rocky white head. Aroma is yeast, dried citrus, spices and graininess. Flavor is yeast esters and lighter phenols, grainy malts, and some more orange zest. Medium light bodied with a spicy quick finish. Not bad.

Very light pour. Lemongrass and floral notes. Light citrus. Soft spices. Not bad in a warm day ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
