Bottle - 750mL crowned. Gold bodied with a tall, rocky white head. Aroma is grassy and grainy with soft grape notes, dusty yeast and flowers. Taste is grape skins, wine notes, tart fruit, grains, floral hops, yeast, citrus, tropical fruit, and grass. Body is medium with a strong, bubbly carbonation. Dry during the finish as well. Finishes with more grape skins, tart berries, soft lemon, flowers, floral hops, unripe tropical fruit and grains. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 27, 2012
A - Pours a clear golden-yellow with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down fairly slowly leaving behind some nice lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of farmhouse yeast and spices with some lemon zest, grape, with a bit of wheat and grains.
T - Starts off with a mix of grains, pilsner malt, white grapes, and a bit of tart lemon. Through the middle, some Belgian yeast comes through with a bit of spice and some more tart lemon peel. The finish is a mix of tart lemon, Belgian yeast, white grapes, and a bit of light yeast.
M - Medium bodied with moderate-plus carbonation. Feels smooth with a tart and dry finish.
D - Very drinkable. Really nice flavor added by the white grape, and the base saison is really nice. Good balance. BHeart (72) - - MAY 27, 2012
Pours a light golden, with a steady head. Hints of grapes slash champagne in the Belgian aroma. Definitely smells sweet and bubbly. Slightly sour in taste, like white wine, though more on the back end. Starts off smooth and gentle, definitely has a heavy dose of booze, but leaves a sour, yet crisply cleansed palate. Still, you can taste the acidic offs of the botrytis. Recommended for lovers of saisons, or sours, particularly on a warm evening- 9% sits you down.

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2012 interesting? yes.. and even somewhat refreshing... but past that, not really my thing. pretty acidic, very dry and sour, kind of vinegary ... goes down somewhat like a wine or cider... and if that?s what i was looking for then that?s what I?d rather get... probably won?t be having this again twindog (274) - Hampstead, Maryland, USA - MAY 26, 2012

Bottle 750 ml. Clear yellow beer with a small white head. Aroma of raisins, white wine, grain and citrus. Taste of raisins, citrus and white wine. Mouthfeel is acidic and dry. Interesting beer with a unique taste profile. Probably at it’s best when served as an apero, a dessert and with fish or white meat (like white wine). Would recommend. Pours clear yellow with a medium nice head. An interesting fruit beer. Good grape taste, in fact it is a lot like chardonnay white wine. Very juicy. Would be good to serve as apero or with chicken or fish.
Couleur jaune claire avec un collet blanc moyen. Intéressante bière fruitée. Bon goût de raisin, en fait ça ressemble beaucoup à du chardonnay blanc. Texture juteuse. Doit être excellente en apéro ou pour acompagner du poulet ou du poisson. tgncc (3140) - Bellmore, New York, USA - MAY 20, 2012
Shared at WTWBA 2012, Brooklyn. The aroma is malty, pilsner-like, grassy, sweet corn, white wine. The appearance is clear gold, white head. The flavor is sweet, corn, wine, lemon. The finish has the sweetness of a pale lager, corn, some dry white wine. Unexpected. Not bad overall. kp (10881) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - MAY 20, 2012
