Pour at Night of the Barrels (EBF). Big fan of the original beer with some age on it so didn’t know what to expect. Dark brown with a light brown head. Seems like both a muted and enhanced version of the base beer - roasted malts, smoke, nutty, malty, alcohol and wood (was nice to have the wood without the bourbon flavours). Definitely hot, sweet with a nice depth from the cedar, moderate carbonation and decent body, lots of booze. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - FEB 6, 2012
