Aroma- A light fruitiness (If I didnt know it was brewed with Pear juice, Im not sure i wouldve picked it out as pear). Light citrus, herb, and earthy, peppery hops. Bready malts. Taste- Light grapefruit, pear, bready malts, cracker, big tea notes, and slight earthy hop. Sometimes a lemony flavor is there as well. Bready, tea-like aftertaste. Overall- I was most impressed by the characteristics brought in by the tea, but the balance was well worth remembering as well. I loved the subtle grapefruit and earthy hop presence that popped in and out. Probably as complex as a lighter beer can get. Ive never been much of a Pilsener man, but if I ever get the urge, this is what Im buying.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange gold with medium frothy white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong grass and earth hop. Medium body, grass, bitter finish, decent.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain/bread), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a note of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Not too bad, because thankfully the pear additions are not very apparent (still, why does DFH insist on putting unnecessary and sometimes downright stupid adjuncts in pretty much every single beer they make???)...in the nose its more like alfalfa honey, whereas in the mouth it does seem like it has a fruity acidity, which Im not fond of for the style. Sweetness lingers rather long too, and theres not quite enough bitterness to clean the finish up. Kinda flabby watery-syrupy mouthfeel is probably the weakest link. Mediocre but better than usual for this brewery.

Seemed true to style -surprised by the additions. Nose is grassy and buttery. Clear gold with nice lacing. No off taste, well made and balanced. Dry, yes very dry, clean finish. Thirst quenching mouthfeel. Really good.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big sweet corn pils malt nose. The flavor is sweet toasted malt, citrus, huge dry pilsner malt. Solid. Clean.

Pour is a nice blond with a small retaining head and some awesome lacing. Smell is waaaay odd, floral and herbal, almost soapy somehow? Taste is herbal, there is maybe some lavender or mint there?? But also a sweet and bitter clash which leaves a nice long bitter finish

Decent warm weather beer. Aroma was nice. That distinct Pilsner malt smell with wet hay and a hint of light fruit. Pour was a nice somewhat hazy medium light gold with a thin white ring for a head. Taste was a little odd. Didnt read the label before I started drinking it and was wondering why it had an off sweet flavor. The pear addition killed this beer. Nice Pils flavor at first sip- bitter and dry noble hops and wet hay but the sweetness of the pear kicks in mid sip and sweetens the beer too much. Not terrible but not what I was expecting. Very light carbonation and a sweet, sticky pear finish.

Smells more fruity, tropical than a pale ale. Cloudy like a weissbier. Tastes like a Shandy. I imagine a non beer drinker may enjoy this. It is a nice palate cleanser and it is fine with me but not even close to a pils. Not lager like at all.
