I had this on tap at the DFH brewpub in Rehoboth. I’m a huge fan of rye beer, not to mention a life-long visitor to Rehoboth, so I loved this one. Following it up with a sampler of DFH spirits made a perfect combination. GMCC2181 (1617) - Newark, Delaware, USA - AUG 4, 2010
On tap in rehoboth. Pint glass, dark orange color, not much head. Average aroma of some spices and maltyness. Taste reminds me of a lager... Rye, malty but not too sweet. Some spices, nicely balanced. Texture was grainy with a heavyness to it. Something different with out going over the top. Good job DFH grandet (501) - Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 11, 2009
On tap at the brew pub. Poured on nitro with a hige creamy white head. Aroma is some spices and sweet malt. Taste is smooth and drinkable with some citrus notes at the ned. Very nice. boto (2283) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - AUG 16, 2009
Nitro Draught @ DFH Rehoboth: This one poured a cloudy, darker golden color. There was 1 finger of a dense white head. It left lots of lacing. The aroma is lighter, but very nice. Scents of the rye, as well as juniper and some citrus. The taste is also good. It is very silky and creamy on the tongue and goes down easy. The taste has notes of rye, and a faint citrus and juniper taste. It is also a hint sour. Very Good! jrodooo5 (1748) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - MAY 3, 2012
Not a whole lot in the aroma. It pours orange with a nice head. The taste is incredibly smooth but full of subtle flavors. Easily the most sessionable beer of DH’s I’ve ever had. It was perfect for a warm spring day on the DH deck!

Draught sample at the brewpub. Pours orange with a tan nitro head that dissapears. Smells of rye, some resiny hops. Tastes sweet with some resiny undertones. Decent. checkmatei1 (783) - Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2009
Draft @ Rehoboth (Aug): Poured a hazy copper color with a white head. The aroma was spice, hops, and rye. The flavor was well balanced, spicy, citrus, sweet malts and a creamy finish. Overall, I’d drink this again. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 11, 2010
On tap at Dogfish pub. My 1100 th beer. Coppery pour with aroma of spice, rye and hop. Taste was caramel malts, bread and orange. A mild dry hop finish. Pretty good. sloth (2955) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - AUG 6, 2009
Small white head, fair retention and lace. Hazy copper/amber hued brew. Soft spicey nose. Nice soft mouthfeel, creamy and lightly oily. Med/light body. Light citrus flavors, spices, dry malts, lightly bready. Dry finish, quick. An easy quaffer that was tasting good that evening. blipp (9899) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 8, 2009
Nitro at the brewpub. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Sweet malty aroma with some spicy and lemony citric notes. The flavor is malty sweet with a spicy hint and a touch of citrus in the finish. Decent. Easy to drink for sure.
