Bottle at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration Tune-Up, London. Pours a light, hazy yellow with a fluffy, white head. Sweet, herbal nose with some chai. Big sweet flavor with spices, light caramel, more chai. Full bodied with average carbonation. Crisp, spicy finish with some doughy caramel, toasty sugars, mild herbal bitterness, some pepper, lasting chai. Very, very sweet and interesting. Plenty of flowers. Good stuff. mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 14, 2010
750mL bottle, pours hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of juniper berries, coriander, lemon, very earthy and black tea. Flavour of juniper berries, tea, quite fruity, a little sweet, quite earthy. TBone (17990) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 11, 2010

Hazy orange color, small white head, some lace. Aroma of banana, coriander, juniper and maybe black tea. Spicey and sweet. Honey, coriander, cinnamon, tea, banana, rose water. Interesting, spicey mix of German wheat beer and Belgian strong ale. Good beer nothing to do with sahti.
Bottle, 75cl. A hazy dark golden beer with a dense, off-white head leaving lacings. Honey, herbs, heather and juniper on the nose, none extreme in any way. Some alcohol too. The flavor is a bit sweet, with honey, bitterness, herbs and a spice hint. Heather too. Full body, a tad warming, and pleasantly carbonated. Lasting finish. Decent indeed, and not too honey-ish like honey beers tend to be. A bit warming though. 130810 jtclockwork (17070) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 17, 2010
Pours very clear orange. No head. Not the best looking brew. Nose is ginger, tea and white pepper. Very nice nose. Taste is spectacularly balanced tea, ginger, white pepper, coriander, light spices and juniper.

Pours a hazed orange color with a bit white head. As with most sahteas, a very herbal aroma. Lots of juniper and maybe some ginger notes. Lots of spices as well, mostly coriander and cardamom. A slight tartness is also noticeable. Strangely, there is a strong flavor of banana to go along with the juniper and spice character. Lightly tart and lemony, which is sort of interesting. Actually pretty enjoyable. bhensonb (15603) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 24, 2010
Bottle shared by joshuahfl. Pours hazy dark gold with a foamy 2 finger off-white head. Nice gin aroma. Medium body with mild carbonation. Very smooth. Tea aspect is muted. So much juniper it’s almost ginger. Very tasty, and the heat is also muted. Good. Scopey (15431) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2012
Bottle at my Pre-CBC Tune-Up Tasting, thanks to jackl. It pours light orange, with a thin white head. The nose orange, tea, peppery juniper, very aromatic, herbal and something akin to urinal cake. The taste is orange, mango, tangerine, herbal, floral, jasmine, tangy, tea and ginger, with a dry, slightly citric finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Very interesting indeed. 750 ml bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting off white head. Aromas of chai, light juniper and light carmel. Palate was medsium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, chai and light juniper with a smooth spiced finish. Another boring overpriced beer from Dogfish Head. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 26, 2010
