Bottle sample at Vova’s Hoppy Beerthday tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Yoav. Golden with floaties. Huge cardamom and clove aroma, with other spices and some fruitiness. Sweet flavor with malt, caramel, cardmamom, clove, some fruitiness, a tart hint. Medium-bodied. Not my thing. Tmoney99 (14622) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 24, 2009
Bottle from Dilly Deli.
Poured a clear golden color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Good aroma of dough, juniper and banana. Medium to full body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy complex bittersweet finish of medium to long duration.
Interesting complex brew. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 7, 2009

A hazy golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, pleasant and sweet, with juniper berries, ginger and pineapples. In mouth, a nice sweet candy sugar with fragrant spices, coriander, pineapples, nice warming alcohol, a bit lighter than expected. Bottle tasted Nov. 27, with GRM and friends, bought at Kappy’s Malden, Oct. 2009. Drake (13954) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 20, 2009

Bottle shared. Pours clear copper with a small off white head. Strong aroma of juniper, chai tea, coriander and unknown herbs. Flavour is fairly sweet with barely any bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Very strange and not to my taste. BeerandBlues2 (13594) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 26, 2009
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small, fizzy, white head, diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, bread, straw), light hop (grass), average yeast (dough) with notes of chai, juniper, honey, plum, and pineapple. Full bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness. Dogbrick (13145) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 30, 2009
Sample at AleFest Columbus (06/27/09): This brew pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Interesting aroma of chai tea, citrus and bananas. Medium body with flavors of vanilla chai, peaches, spices and honey. The finish is mildly spiced with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Pretty good overall. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 11, 2011
