COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
SeaQuench Ale is our session sour quencher made with lime peel, black lime and sea salt. It’s a citrusy-tart union of three German styles of beer blissfully brewed into one. We begin by brewing a straightforward Kolsch with lots of wheat and Munich Malt, then we brew a salty Gose with black limes, coriander and our sea salt. We follow it all up with a citrusy-tart Berlinerweiss made with lime juice and lime peel. All three beers are then blended together in the fermentation tank to create this German hybrid.

12 oz. can, pours a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Nose brings out lots of lime, a nice saltiness and lacto. Flavour is along the same lines, with a lovely coriander character upfront, followed by citrus, salt and lacto. Wonderfully structured and perfectly balanced. Exactly how I love my goses. Excellent.

Can. Pale amber, on the palate, it's got a lot of lime and a little bit of salt. Base beer seems pretty innocuous.

Keg at Yard house, Houston. It pours cloudy yellow - gold with a medium white head. The aroma is earthy, funky, salty, coriander, lemon yoghurt. The taste is crisp, tart, salted lemon, lime, good mouth - pucker, creamy yoghurt, minerals, with a dry finish. Light - medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Pretty crisp and refreshing. Decent gose.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is dusty, mild citrus leaves. Near med body. Flavor hits with something like lime leaves, moves on to light breadiness and reveals some salt. First impression very nice - moving on to the finish is a bit dull. Guess it’s meant to be crushed rapidly. After a bit the lime leaf begins to dominate and control the mouth with some dry astringency.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a hazy yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, lime, salt, pepper and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry moderately bitter finish. Flavors of wheat, lime zest, salt and a hint of yeast with a crisp dry moderately tart, lime finish.
