Poured in a tulip glass from tap. Intensely carbonated despite limited head with a purplish red color. The trademark 60min taste but its muted by some of the grape flavors. Its very drinkable and pleasant

Pours a reddish purple color. Aroma is grape and some citrus. Taste is sweet with fruit.

Bottle to glass. The fragrance has a faint sweetness, like wine, if you breathe in deep. Medium carbonation. A bit of a funkiness to the flavor, but it grows on you. That sweetness is hiding in the background at the end, almost like that from a saison. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. I really couldn’t taste the grapes so I’m disappointed overall. This must be one of Dogfish’s lesser efforts.

Pours a dark peach color with a thin, soapy to creamy white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet and tart vinous notes, pine and citrus hops and a little earthy fallen leaves/fruit note. Flavor is earthy vinous notes right away, leading to light caramel, biscuit, mineral notes, tart vinous notes, and light pine and citrus hops, finishing with earthy vinous notes and a little more booziness than it should have with this this much going on at 6.5%ABV. Light body, watery and dry throughout with a medium, blanketing carbonation and slightly astringent finish. Not bad, but definitely not my thing, seems like a bit of a mess. They must have a line on free grape must or something.

DalzAle (2038) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - JUN 3, 2014
Bottle. Clear dark tannish/purple colored pour, minimal lacing and an aroma of a little hops and grape rinds. Flavor is lightly bitter muskmelon, hints of dry hops and more grape rinds on the aftertaste. Worth picking up for a rate.

Very surprising. Grape must adds a nice complexity and some earthiness to counteract the citrus-y hops.

In a bottle not as good as the sixty. Not enough grape. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice brew which is actually fruity and tannic on the palate. Flavor is a bit sweet but the grapes come through.

Amber/purple pour. Weird damn beer. Artificial fruity notes mixed with hops. I like beers that bridge the gap with wine, but this is just too odd.
