Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pouts golden with a slight haze. Fresh citrusy nose, a little phenols and astringency, but very sweet malts too. Solid body, heavy residual sweetness, fruity too. Carbonation is a bit low. The finish is fruity but not overly bitter. Pleasant. 080411

Leighton (21255) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2010
Bottle, shared with Mikel at Blind Tiger. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a soft, white head. Aroma holds caramel, loads of citrus, some pine. Flavor is sweet up front with a caramel sweetness, then goes head-on into raging citrusy hops. Pineapple, orange, and hints of grapefruit are the main players. Light earthiness, modest bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Finish is moderately bitter. Really good.

fiulijn (20515) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 8, 2011
Bottle from Liberty Wine on 10th, Vancouver
Hazy amber color; generous head, reducing to a smaller, creamy head. Nice hoppy aroma, resiny and fruity, but also some vanilla, cereals and cardboard. Good body structure, without being too thick; toffee flavor, moderate residual sweetness; the hopping is mostly carrying soft resins, some citrusy fruitiness, and a harsh and more astringent final.
Very solid beer.

Koelschtrinker (20399) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 29, 2011
Aromatischer Hopfenantrunk, frisch. 9/11/10/11/9/11
