Cloudy gold beer, thin white head. Complex array of fruits and herbs on the nose. Light and very dry palate. Sweet herbs and tart tangerine and orange. Minerals in the dry finish. Good stuff! DFH inventive as ever!
Draft. Slightly hazy golden color, small fluffy white head, delicate lacing. Aroma of herbs, flowers, but also very slightly medicinal. Taste is white pepper and bitter, with some fruitiness in the middle. Didn’t try this one side by side with thr others, so its hard to compare. cgarvieuk (24460) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 10, 2010

Bottle in NYC. Pours hazy gold with a large, white foam head. Aroma holds lots of grass and herbs. Medium sweet flavour with good herbal bitterness of fresh grass, rosemary and thyme, some yeast, candi sugar, mild alcohol and lemon citrus. Medium to full in body with massaging, creamy carbonation. A bit of boozy warmth in the finish, with more herbal hops, toasted straw, mild bready sugars, some dry citrus. A very nice, strong saison. fiulijn (20491) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 13, 2013

Hazy deep blond color; medium sized head. Strong spicy aroma, rosemary and sage over the rest; surprisingly harmonious. Highly carbonated, spicy yeast presence, and strong herbal character too, rosemary and thyme; correct bitterness.
Undoubtedly well brewed, although I don’t share passion for this kind of beer.
