World Wide Stout is one of the worlds strongest dark beers. It is brewed using six different yeast strains over seven months and then aged for half a year. Dark, rich, roasty, and complex, World Wide Stout has more in common with a fine port than a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer (released in early winter with very limited availability).

Dark brown, aroma of dark chocolate, alcohol and soy sauce. Thick and creamy, with great body to the beer. Alcohol is a little to in your face for me, but then again i guess that is the fun of the beer. Split beer with gf. Would be my drink of choice if I was to survive in Antarctica...warms you up, lots of calories and wouldnt be a bad beer to go out on if I didnt make it. However cant really see myself drinking this too many other times. Fun to try nonetheless.

Pours a dark brown with an off-white foam head. Aroma is intensely boozy bourbon, dark fruits, toffee, chocolate, and roast. Flavor is warm booze, bourbon, toffee, dark fruits, and chocolate. Well-carbonated, not quite smooth. Good, though not near my favorite imperial stout. There are plenty other imperial stouts that are cheaper and have a lower ABV that taste much, much better.

Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, lots of molasses, sweet. Taste is sweet, boozy, raisins, chocolate. Very boozy, low carbonation. Nice, but as expected, very intense - balanced for this ABV, though.

Bottled on 11/01/2016. Pours a pitch black (not reddish) color with a thin cappuccino head. Aroma is dark chocolate, bourbon, raisin, roasted malts, plum, figs, and black coffee. Taste is very dry, raisin and plums up front, dry bitter coffee and chocolate, molasses, roasted notes throughout, lots of very bitter dark chocolate, bourbon and booze heavy. Overall the beer is very booze forward but at 18% itd be hard to hide. Very complex, a winter sipper, and one to enjoy a bit cold at first but allow to warm up and taste the flavors open up and change.

Smell of cacao, barley and malt. Drink from bottle. Taste of heavy alcohol like Bourbon. Feel heat dry throat after. Hint of barley, chocolate, coffee, malt. Smooth, thick and strong. Very good, rare and costly.

Roasted chocolate malty aroma with slight booze. Very full bodied stout with a slight sweet finish and some booze in the finish. Balanced and very nice but definitely feels like I am drinking some straight alcohol in there. Malt sweetness is just the right balance to the alcohol. Doesn't taste thick or sticky. Just solid all around. Think the alcohol acts almost as hops to the malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

There doesnt seem to be any flavor but booze, and the booze isnt even complex.

Bottle shared at Maakuns. Dark caramel pour with a thin tan head. Notes of bourbon, burnt caramel, toasted coconut and quite a bit of dried fruit. Medium body and carbonation and a strong alcoholic finish.

Bottle shared by me. Black with small beige head. 2012 vintage. Plums, raisins, figs, burning alcohol, some dark chocolate, dried dates, brown sugar, light spices. Quite sweet with alacolic bitterness. Over medium bodied. Nice beer but too much alcohol.

Taste: Bold dark malts, dark fruit raisins, molasses, sticky, intense, boozy, some hop hidden in finish. Deep roasted malt and coffee nose. Black, opaque, and a very refined head with nice lattice. Med/Full body. Big alcohol.
