World Wide Stout is one of the worlds strongest dark beers. It is brewed using six different yeast strains over seven months and then aged for half a year. Dark, rich, roasty, and complex, World Wide Stout has more in common with a fine port than a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer (released in early winter with very limited availability).

AdamGott (386) - Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA - NOV 25, 2012
aroma of alcohol - dark brown/light black pour with little head - very high alcohol content is readily apparent but after that there is a little malt - this one is definitely more of a barley wine than a stout and I cant see why it is rated so high! I do get some raisins and caramel but lots of alcohol.

Kolor: Czarny jak smoła.
Piana: Niewielka, beżowa, drobniutka. Z wielkim sykiem opada w dł do milimetrowej otoczki.
Zapach: No i się zawiodłem... I to grubo...

Originally rated on 2/4/09. I finally get to cross this off of my wish list. Aroma was a bit disappointing, at first there were hints of grapes, dates, raisins and then POW! nail polish remover. It was really nice at first but i had to downgrade the aroma. Average apperance, mouthfeel was thick, but not syrupy. Flavors saved this one for me with a alcohol front, complex dark fruit middle, with a smooth chocolate and coffee finish. Overall its a bit over the top. I enjoyed my bottle, too bad about the aroma or i would have rated it higher.

GIJOE (1152) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - MAY 8, 2017
Pours a very dark brown cola-like color with a thin, filmy head. Sparse lacing. Nose is boozy with nougat overtones, notes of dried fruit, licorice, and dark-roasted - almost charred grain, and a hint of cacao. Taste is a lovely balance of sweet booziness with bitter char and dark chocolate notes. Medium body, mild carbonation, long boozy, dark-chocolate aftertaste. This is remarkably good brew. Im a huge fan.

On tap at the Blue Monkey in Merchantville. Inky black in the glass, on the nose a Swiss, bittersweet chocolate, fresh raisins and hint of butterscotch. The mouthfeel is viscous, almost oily, but a great finish with lingering sweetness and a touch of heat. A delicious brew.

This was on Tap at the Brewery in March 2017 15%ABV. Imperial stout. Tapped out black. 40SRM. Nose has syrup and burnt milk and sugar. Boozy and sweet with torched maple sugar. Still a ton of barley sweetness and body in the nose. Liked milled barley. Mouthfeel is syrupy. Palate is sugary, black honey, honeyed dates, some light ume dryness, but no sour body. This one is sweet and boozy. Finish is alcoholic, burnt sugar, burnt wood finish.

Tap. A taster. Aroma is richly malt malt and dark fruit molasses with heavy alcohol overtones (18%). Has a liquor sweetness. Pours dark with little top. Carbonation flat and oily palate. Anyone who drinks 10z or 30cl may well not care.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2017 From mobile notes@ [email protected] basement SF: vintage 2014 with 18% abv?: Pours oily black with foamy diminished head with gool lacing and ring around the glass. Aroma-flavors: intense roasted grain, dark cacao chocolate, coffee, licorice, port wine, mollasses, gentle dark fruit esters. Alcohol is amost sherry-like noticeable. Dry finish. Full, almost thick body, low carbonation smooth texture.

chucklemation (1594) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - MAR 23, 2017
Pours a dark brown with an off-white foam head. Aroma is intensely boozy bourbon, dark fruits, toffee, chocolate, and roast. Flavor is warm booze, bourbon, toffee, dark fruits, and chocolate. Well-carbonated, not quite smooth. Good, though not near my favorite imperial stout. There are plenty other imperial stouts that are cheaper and have a lower ABV that taste much, much better.

Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, lots of molasses, sweet. Taste is sweet, boozy, raisins, chocolate. Very boozy, low carbonation. Nice, but as expected, very intense - balanced for this ABV, though.
