3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Large white head. This basically average IPA shows it shit with resionous hop aromas and a wave of sweet, bitter, pine sap like tastes. Enjoyable but in moderation.
Five year old bottle so I didn’t expect this to be as good as once before probably. Pours clody orange with a thick white head. Aroma of honey, pine, berry, and orange. Very good taste of resin and orange with a bitter finish. Barrios (1243) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 7, 2009
Pours a light tan head with a cola-color body...i got the dregs tho. Smells of malt and mellow citrus hops. Tastes of floral and some spice hop and medium malt sweetness. Little dry. Wish the hops were more prevalent all-around. ScottyP (425) - Brentwood, Tennessee, USA - JUN 7, 2009
Pours a hazy gold with foamy head. Aroma of citrus, pine, hops, lemon, some malts. Similar taste, buttery up front with some nice hop bite. Not bad for an ’04. Thanks butters! MmmcKay (1053) - Brentwood, Tennessee, USA - JUN 7, 2009
Five year old beer courtesy of Butters at his Cellar Reduction # 6. Old tasting but still going. Best by 12/9/04. Bitter hops. Resin and pine. Tastes like this beer might have active yeast in the bottle . I wouldn’t be surprised if the alcohol content has risen over the years. Who knows. Interesting for its age but hardly a stellar beer Butters (4062) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 7, 2009
Bottle (12/9/04) shared from springslicker at the 6th Cellar Reduction. Gusher upon opening. Pours a near clear orange with solid white head. Nose is a weird sweet fruity honey malt, with big alcohol notes. Apple, butterscotch flavors. Still has a decent bitterness on the finish. And i’m not sure, but I think this got more alcoholic with age, lots of warming. Extra points on the age.

btl opened by Springslicker. Lemon sour like butterscotch and apple starburst. Very musty flavor of old wood. Semi sweet that fades to a bitter that is far from pleasant. Very foamy and thin. A beer that did not hold up well with age. Rated out at 2.7 but with a best by of 12/9/04 I rated on a curve officially. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2008
12oz bottle-pours a thin white head and cloudy gold color. Aroma is sour, lemon. Taste is sour, lemon-hops, secondary medium malt, butterscotch. 2.9 Thanks to springslicker for sharing. Best by 12/9/04 therefore 3.2 Ughsmash (7502) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 4, 2007
Bottled, thanks to SpringsLicker for the brew! Poured hazy, deeper golden, and almost still.. a dusting and a light ring of white head stuck around. The aroma was warm and welcoming, and undoubtedly unlike how this originally came across.. deeper caramel, toffee, and barley give an aged, well-malted impression with just a touch of dried floral hoppage.. this aged gracefully with an old-ale appeal. The flavor had deep toffee, medium-skinned fruits, caramel, and barley again with mild floral bitterness.. well-aged and soft, with little hoppage left. Medium-bodied with very low carbonation.. let the malt show glide slowly, but gracefully across the palate. This was just delightful! fro2218 (471) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 26, 2007
This was one damn good IPA! I wish this was still around. Nice malty flavor and lovely citrusy hops. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

clear amber, headless, light floral hop aroma, light malt flayor, good dose of hops, light bitterness, after warming it turns into a wonderful brew full of hop flavor, but light on the bitterness, unique!
