Bottle in a bar in Funchal. Hazy amber with a thin off white head. Rustic farmy aroma. A little musty. The taste is light sour grapes with wood, straw, manure and a dry finish. Very good.

Clear blond beer, creamy off-white to yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit dirty, funky, sourish, infected, fruity touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish, very yeasty, tannins, bitter orange peel, marmalade. Aftertaste: some grapefruit, citrus, yeasty, bitter, hoppy touch, funky, bit metallic.

Clear golden appearance with thin head. Aroma has some wild yeast and some sweet and sour grapes. Flavour is predominantly dry and sweet with dried fruits.

77ships (11412) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 15, 2017
Thank you for sharing tderoeck! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ VCBF 2017. Dark orange, lacing, soapy white. Nose is sweet oxidized, white wine, soap, plain cereal, lemon. Taste is weirdly heavy on brett, overly so, lemon, wine barrel, zest, soap, real overkill on the brett, maybe it needs more time. Decent but far too heavy on brett for me. Body is brett & soap.
