Fuzeta is named for the island in the Algarve, whose warm water activities makes the perfect pairing for this daring beer. Fuzeta has a big fruity and floral hop aroma, a big tropical and citrus fruit flavor, firm bitterness, all held together with a light malt presence.

Deep Amber-gold pour. The aroma is of cooked fruit, pine and a touch of resin. Assertive bitterness but fairly restrained on sweetness. Has a decent balance and a touch of pine and a bit of fruit. Grassy with lots of resin. Sticky as it warms.

F: huge, tan, very long lasting. C: dark amber to almost brow, hazy, opaque. A: grapefruits, tangerine, orange, bit caramel, bit sour fruity, bit tropical fruits too. T: pomelo, grapefruits, bit tangerine, bit passion fruits, mango, medium to full body, high bit disturbing carbonation, a little different interpretation of the style yet enjoyed, 33cl bottle from BXLBeerFest in Brussels.

Bottle at Hamburgueria B&B. Murky amber body with a huge off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried apricot and honey. Flavour of golden syrup and tinned oranges. Medium body with a syrupy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. It’s overcarbonated and quite sweet but overall it’s pretty good.

330ml bottle. Cloudy to murky, amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Slightly sweaty, fruity and resinous, hoppy aroma, hints of overripe peach, minimally sugary, caramel malty background. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty, citrusy hoppy, hints of lemon and orange; slightly dry and papery finish.

0,33l bottle from the brewery taproom, Pours deep murky yeasty orange golden liquid, medium longlasting creamy head, Aroma: very fruity, pomelo, grapefruit, mango, pine, litchi, yeasty, not ballanced, Taste: medium to heavy sweet, medium to heavy bitter, light to medium sour, fruity, pomelo, grapefruit, orange zest, litchi, pine, warming alcohol, not sure if not slightly infected (notes on nose as well as in taste?), yeasty, Palate: full body, soft carbonation, creamy thick mouthfeel, long bitter sweet aftertaste, Overall: quite good, bit too alcoholic, could be more harmonious, less yeasty and withoit this slight infected aroma/tastem. Otherwise enjoyed.

adamnowek (3811) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 12, 2017
Super murky. Dark copper colour with a good three inches of super bubbly head; thankfully, it recedes into a much more respectable, long-lasting layer of creamy goodness. Aroma is pine and malt. Taste is lots of sweet fruits (grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange) with a bit of malt. It’s boozy, but only very subtly so.

mike_77 (7529) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JUN 23, 2017
Hazy blond colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have grassy and floral hop notes. Full bodied.
