COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
PEAR ICE WINE

Pears are pressed at the beginning of the winter and their juice is stored in containers in the orchard that can withstand the winter. After several weeks, the juice that has been naturally concentrated by the cold is collected gradually over the course of the winter.

Melliforous nose with beeswax and floral notes. Subtle mint flavours. The taste is full-bodied and decadent, the balance is perfect, and the sensation is fluid and airy.

Perfect over ice after a meal or as an aperitif.

Sampled at RBSG tasting. Pours a clear golden color with no head. The aroma and flavor have sweet pear, some apple like notes, signs of the alcohol, hints of floral character, thicker, syrupy, but very solid, I haven’t had many of these but this was good.

AdamChandler (5178) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 23, 2016
looks okay, kind of a dense amber apple juice. the nose is actually quite weak. there is a little cranberry aroma in there. taste is similar. not thick or dense, slightly bits of brandy in here. apple throughout but more of a sweet and really violent in your face apple flavor, almost too much despite the very weak mouthfeel

4.3
JStax (7175) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUL 21, 2016
Bottle shared at RBSG. The cider is a clear yellow with no head. The aroma has thick apple sauce notes. Vanilla, nutmeg, subtle clove. Sweet. Thick. Big body.
