Draft at the Irish Pol. Fizzy orange copper pour with a frothy off-white head. Messy medicinal medium caramel pour. Sweet watery date, raisin and currant syrups. Orange banana peels. Feels murky and uneven. Nowhere near a proper double/dubbel. Sickeningly sugary. No refinement at all. Probably the lowest beer I?ve ever rated. Not working at all. Avoid. Backlog. 4oz draft. Dark copper with small offwhite head. Belgian spices, banana, yeast, booze. Messy, medicinal. JStax (7175) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - NOV 22, 2015
12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a hazed copper color with a beige head of foam that dissipates quickly. The aroma has sweet banana notes that get a little funky and musky. The taste has a cherry-like sweetness that stays sweet throughout. I get some jolly rancher like sweetness as well. Medium to bigger body and lower to medium carbonation. Tastes better than it smells. kidobutai (698) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - AUG 23, 2015
Nice surprise Dominion! Cloudy copper with little head and no lacing. But it only gets better. Pungent whiskey aroma with a hint of fruit, creamy texture and a slight bite. jrodooo5 (1718) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - APR 20, 2015
Pours nicely - murky coppper w/ a big ten head thst leaves some lacing. The aroma has some subtle Belgian spice. The taste is fairly plain until a not so pleasant metallic finish which ruins the softness on the palate up to that point. Certainly not a top notch abbey by any means!

Bottle. Pours brown with a small off-white head. Aroma was slightly malty with caramel, yeast, and a hint of banana. Flavor of caramel, raisins, toffee, fruit and banana. cheap (6087) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2015
From a bottle, should be rated as a trippel. Twist off cap, sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Looks like a hefe. Somewhat odd metallic aroma. Yes, a somewhat unrefined wanna be beldgian triple, needs some manners. Fer sure it has the beldgy yeast but its a little too forward. Alky is apparent, fer sure, I think its getting my olfactory numb from the start, wew. It should be a strong ale now that I think about it. Yes, that metallic aroma even goes volatile fruit after a while, can’t turn away from it. The taste is warming at first but goes into a processed kindah thing in the middle. There is some co2 in there but the personality kicks the co2 right in the ass. Uniques strong Belgian ale thing smasher upper. Cannot appreciate but if you like strong Belgians, give this a try, you may be happy. rumproasts (6035) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JAN 24, 2015
bottle. Golden with one finger head. Strange fishy aroma. Rotting vegetable flavor with some mild Belgian spice. Not impressed at all with this one.

Pours clear orange-amber with a 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of banana esters and some honey, maybe a touch of black pepper. Body is medium-to-full and very slightly syrupy. Mild flavor of caramel with some banana and black pepper. Maybe some coriander as it warms. bigtaster (1025) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 13, 2014
Pours foggy orange brown color with a small off-white head. Nose is candy oranges, vanilla, dried apricot, caramel. Medium plus carbonation, medium body, slightly oily. Medium sweetness from start to finish, no preceptible bitterness. No complexity.
