Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a caramel-copper color with little floaters and a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that faded quickly and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet toasted caramel, light pine, grapefruit and a bit of Pez candies. The flavor was bitter and semi-sweet with light pine an grapefruit and hints of Pez, caramel and nut. Short caramel and fruit finish. Medium body. Pleasant. yespr (47567) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 26, 2012

From tap at Harrys Tap Room, terminal B Dulles. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white and creamy head. Aroma is toasted malty and caramelish, light grassy. Bitter, tasted malty and light caramelish. Toasted malty and dry finish.
Translucent copper with a thin head. The aroma and flavor are both very sweet/malty. There is some slight citrus in the finish, but pretty thin and unmemorable overall. NachlamSie (3570) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 12, 2012
Imperial pint at Tidewaters in Washington Dulles airport. Pours a copper color with a whispy white head. Aroma is a little metallic with grassy notes, wood light corny malts. Palate is on the lighter side. Decent hoppiness, considering but it does carry that metallic flavor. Finish is a little fruity with a dash of butter. Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Light sweet caramel malty aroma with some flowery hoppy hints. The flavor is plain and balanced, with a light malty sweetness and some light floral bitterness. Not awful.

Received this as a present for Christmas so had to have one while playing Wii on Christmas day! Thanks Gayle! Nice aroma with earthy notes and a hint of toffee that lasts for a long time. Finishes so well that I would rate this beer as very drinkable. Two thumbs up! Need to save some for CMB when he comes home in a few weeks shrubber85 (11618) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 20, 2011
Bottle. Caramel malt with hint of hops. Amber color with small head. Sweet caramel malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Okay - nothing special.
