COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We make one type of cider and we think we make it well. But no two batches are ever really the same. You’ll always find something slightly different. Changes in the weather and the apples causes natural variations in the flavour of the cider. It’s part of the fun and keeps things interesting.

Dominion Cider is a dry, English-style pub cider. It has a light golden colour with a lively effervescence in the glass. It has a distinctive, earthy apple aroma with a full-bodied mouth feel and subtle astringency from the blend of apple varietals in each batch.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear straw color with no head. Aromas of dry green apples and citrus. Flavors of sharp yellow apples and green grapes. Good carbonation. Clean. Pleasant.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2016 Bottle at Orchard & the Sea, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp green apples, with a touch of residual sweetness. Flavour is nice and crisp, with crisp green apples and just enough sweetness to bring this to life. Not particularly inventive but it works well. Good stuff.

beerplace (2397) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 22, 2016
500ml bottle brought from Kelowna (by Sonnet, thx!). Pours a clear golden with a weak head. Aroma and taste are apples, fruity, quite sophisticated, similar to champaign. Pleasant.

Ferris (17800) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 28, 2016
Bottle - Light green apple and lots of skin. Clear gold. Green apple skin, tannic and a very dry finish.

2.9
sulawang (1217) - - AUG 28, 2016
Visual: Pours clear light golden yellow with no head, micro bubbles along the perimeter, singular steady streams.

Nose: red apple juice with a touch of yeasty acidity - very clean (lvl-5)-pungency

Attack: big crisp bite, off-dry entry

Mid-palate: (lvl-2-sweetness), hints of green apple, tangy light acidity, clean red apple juice, tingly-light bubbly CO2, apple peel

Finish: light tartness, apple juice exhale

Summary: A pretty straightforward and clean red apple cider experience. Underneath the clean flavour there is a touch of apple peel subtlety along with the a sparkling wine-like bubbly acidic backbone. Still, it’s not a cider I will remember.
