THOUGHTS: Not bad, but a little cloying. A little simplistic, really. Hid alcohol incredibly well. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, light to medium, brownish orange with an average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left excellent lacing. The aroma was little weak compared to the flavor, but contained moderate molasses and caramel; moderate orangey citrus hops; honey; brown sugar; and slight alcohol. The initial flavor was heavily sweet and lightly bitter; while the finish was harshly sweet and moderately bitter. There was caramel, brown sugar, citrus (mostly orange) and pine hops, maple syrup, resinous hops, alcohol, and honey. The medium to full body was fairly oily with somewhat soft carbonation that was still tingly and a lightly alcoholic finish.

12oz bottle dated 09/14/16. Gifted by AirForceHops. Thanks, Chris! Pours copper gold with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, grass, lemon citrus. Flavor is caramel, toasted malts, grass. A hint of citrus in an otherwise grassy finish.

Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops dated 9/14/16 orange with a white head. Aromas of caramel malt floral hops and some faint citrus. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malt and lingering bitterness from the hops. Not citrus really there. Probably better fresh.

Bottle from a 12 pack, named the "Pinup Pack". Bottled on 9-14-16. Golden amber-ish color with much head to speak of. Aroma has sweet fruits, sweet caramel, tangy pine and floral notes.

Taste is backed by plenty of sweet caramel malts leading into floral and some abrasiveness from pine. Medium to full bodied with a sticky texture over the tongue. Some alcohol presence. Finishes solidly bitter. Bitter in the sense of higher IBUs without a welcoming hop flavor. Still drinkable but I got to say I like the two other styles in the mixed 12 pack much more than this one.

Bottle at Carsten. Clear yellow with a small white head, nice lacings. Aroma medium+ malty (caramel) and hoppy (tropical fruits, peach, piney). Flavor medium sweet, heavy bitter, long lasting, almost astringent. Medium+ body, sirupy.

12oz bottle from my moms basement. No, I dont live there. Im not that much of a bum. Hazy orange golden with a small white head and some lacing. The aroma is tangerine, peach, honey, and caramel. Flavor is malty, east coast style, but not without a considerable hop punch. Citrusy, medium sweet. Medium-plus body with average carbonation. Decent.

Clear amber color with stable white head. Aroma of hops, caramel and citrus. Taste is sweet at first turning into a bitter finish. Also notes of a bit alcohol, but in a good way. Perfect balance. Just a perfect IPA!

Pours a golden/amber color with a thick and creamy white head...nice lacing and retention. Aroma has light fruity tea notes...some citrus...pineapple...a mild herbal note. Flavor is less delicate than the aroma...earthy bitterness, resinous...bready/caramely malts...still some tea notes but citrus has fallen off. Mouthfeel is medium and a bit oily with a dry earthy/resinous bitter finish

clear, amber color; citrusy, floral hop aroma; citrusy hop flavor with some tropical fruit notes; bitter and crisp; light, bready malt base; lots of bitter hops; quite drinkable for such a high gravity beer
