Bottled. Golden colour, no head. Strong aroma of mashed apples. Fruity with clean, gently rounded mouthfeel. Malty with some hop presence but low bitterness. The apple aroma carries on to the finish, destroying an otherwise well made beer. A good beer with a serious flaw. Travlr (24826) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 30, 2012

Blond color, big head. Light malt aroma, maybe some more in the flavor, balanced but nothing special.
Yellow, white head. Malty, bready aroma with notes of citrus and vanilla. Flavor is malty as well, with notes of toffee and wheat. A pleasant lager. bhensonb (15195) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 14, 2009
Tap at the Dulles location. Pours clear copper with a large off-white head. It generated Belgian lacing. Aroma of caramel. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is lightly roasted caramel with veggy/grassy hop. Perhaps a tad sweet, but not very. There’s certainly enough hop to keep a balance. Finishes towards dry, and bitter persists into the finish. Goes a bit creamy over time. Take this over any macro or yellow pale lager. Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 1, 2006
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with an average frothy white head that was lasting. Good complex balanced aroma. Medium body. Moderate hoppy grass flavor with a good moderate finish. Good complex brew. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 13, 2002
Golden with decent head. Nice sweet Saaz hoppy aroma. Good bitterness on the tongue, not much maltiness. Clean/crisp, dry. Very pleasant lager.
