12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden with a lacing light orange head. Sweet peach fruity and malt sweet aroma. Flavour is sweet at first. Reveals a slight woody note and a mild alcohol note. Has a nice vanilla smoothness. Ends mild and with a soft alcohol warmth. Ungstrup (37558) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2006
A hazy dark amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with lots of overripe fruits, as well as light notes of alcohol, caramel, and lemon. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of alcohol and overripe fruits, leading to an end with notes of citrus combined with a bitternes, and a alcohol burn lingering on the tongue. joergen (28103) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2007

UPDATED: APR 21, 2009 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of CaptainCougar. Pours a hazy amber golden with a small, white head. Distinct aroma of oak and bourbon. Medium body - surprisingly considering its strength - extremely dry with a distinctly alcoholic whisky note. Really, really dry as a bone - I would’ve liked a little more sweetness here. 230807 madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2011

Pleasant aromatic vanilla and bourbon nose that carries through to the flavour. Lovely smooth malt with a sweet note. Really well joined up. Lovely!
Bottle at home ... copper ... thin white head ... plums and loads of alcohol nose ... sweet vanilla toffee ... over rich and clawing ... little oxidisation ... plums... little wood ... vanilla ... bit to rough and almost whiskey fiulijn (20491) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 4, 2007

Beautiful red-amber color. The aroma has an elegant vanilla presence and Bourbon whisky touch. Full mouthfeel, sweet, malty, with a vanilla touch and rum flavor. Well balanced by a strong bitterness.
Comparison to the non oak aged version. This one has less malt aroma, less complex flavor, less alcohol feeling, less bitterness, a thinner body. It’s softer. A different beer, to drink once in a while.
Bottle, 11.4%. Vinous, fat vanilla aroma. Hazy brown/red colour. Very small tan head. Distinct vanilla flavour and medium bitterness in good balance. The vanilla somehow reminds me of vitamin pills, but it is quite good. Very late alcohol flavour, but not that noticeable.
