3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A bomber bottled Nov ’12. Nose on cap opening is luxurious, deep mocha/coffee, roast is very mild and smooth, creamy. Light chocolate. Dark brown-pitch pour with a short light brown head that goes quickly on its way. Watery body with a little malt sticking out but mostly coffee; the sweet red berry is sharp and stinging and a really nice ornament, the alcohol is well-integrated, and the bitterness and acidity usually associated with coffee are downplayed (really, largely absent). The residual sweetness is a little off for style (but not off-putting) and there’s a bit of a film, but I generally like coffee-forward beer mixes and enjoyed this despite its quirks.
12 ounce bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Taste is coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, and some vanilla. Pretty good. Chalumeaux (1611) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 14, 2017
Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops 10/27/16 black cola with a thin tan head. Aromas of espresso grain milk chocolate. Taste is mildly thin and follows flavor. AirForceHops (7536) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 26, 2016
Bottle from a mix 12 pack called the "Pinup Pack" labels marketed to men. Bottled on 10/26/16. Pitch black color, thin weak tan head. Aroma is moderate espresso bean, roasted grain, milk chocolate nuances. floydslip (412) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 12, 2016
The flavor has decent amount of roasted malt backbone. The espresso bean lingers slight after the sip with a good amount milk chocolate to balance. Body is medium plus with a creamy / smoothness. Alcohol is hidden pretty well, make just a hint noticed. Overall, a nicely constructed imperial stout. Old school with only the adjuncted espresso bean. I really enjoyed this.
Murky dark reddish brown beer with a small cap of dark beige head. Semi-sweet nose of cocoa, balsamic vinegar, and coffee. Flavor is similar to the aroma with milk chocolate, lightly sweetened coffee, and charred grain followed by a medium bitterness. Some residual sweetness cuts through the after-taste. Decent stout, but a little light bodied. 60minuteman (1764) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2016
Bottle. Oil black color, tan head. Notes of espresso, dark chocolate, oak and malt. High carbonation and mild heat with bite. Lots of coffee beans. Pleasant surprise despite the ratings.

Beautiful nougat colored foam. Lovely aromas of chocolate and espresso coffee. Full taste of dark chocolate and soft coffee notes. In addition there is a little roasted malt and a little vanilla. Soft carbonation and long aftertaste. There is not much to write about this stout except that it is tasty and definitely lives up to its name as espresso stout. Unsurprisingly, not disappointing - just a lovely coffee porter who lives up to expectations. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2016

I enjoyed Morning Glory. The beer popes flat but it could be this bar. The flavor was rich with deep coffee taste that lingered. I was warm outside but I still enjoyed it. I will try this beer again soon.
