This is a really great winter beer. Nice toasted characters, we’ll rounded flavor. Feels medium on the palate. Good beer.

(7) Drink again. I would drink this beer again. No doubt - not the band - but the beer - chessy - yes! But nevertheless a good beer!

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear, warm reddish brown with a beige head. Sweet, dark, dried fruit aroma. Medium body, sweet and rich dark dried fruit, a little vanilla. Very little roastiness. Not much of a Baltic Porter. 080715

Bottle - Pours a dark, clear brown with a big creamy, mostly lasting head with some big carb bubbles. Aromas of sweet dried fruits and licorice. Velvet mouth feel with aromas continuing in the taste. A bit sweet, but a "full" 6% beer.

From tap at Søernes Ølbar. Black with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, caramel, licorice, dried fruit and chocolate.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUN 14, 2015
Bottle in Baltimore. Roasty malts in the aroma, chocolate, caramel and some bready yeast. Flavor is quite sweet, sugary malts and with a decent body. Only a bit boring.

355ml bottle, trade with Skinnyviking. Spotty lacing from a slowly declining beige head. Clear dark brown coloured body. Sweet caramel aroma, slightly roasted. Rather sweet flavours of brown and black malts, chocolate and cocoa to the fore. Smooth ending. Tasty, gets a tad too sweet after a few sips (shared with Finn, Tromsø 08.04.2015).
