Bottle. Clear dark brown color with a average good alcing off-white head. Flavor is heavy malty, brown sugar. Flavor is heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 20, 2007
Bottled. Rubyish brown colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is earth, caramel malts and slightly papery. Flavour is caramel malts, sugar and syrup with some hints of both metal and rubber. Travlr (24784) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Bottle. Clear maroon color, scant head. Aroma of subtle prunes and raisins. Taste is odd sweet, sour and buttery. Calling this one an oud bruin is false advertising. fiulijn (20514) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 12, 2012

Dark mahogany color, medium head. Perfumy caramel aroma. Sweet caramel flavor, no real bitterness. Actually I find it not deep but quite refreshing.
Bottle. A clear, brown beer with a tan head of moderate to small size. Sweet, sugary maltyness on the nose, dried fruits blending in. The flavor is sweet and malty, with cellar and dried fruits, some malt extract as well. Thin and sticky mouthfeel. Sweet finish. A rather unusual beer in a way, but quite pleasant for it’s ABV-range and style. 090925

Dark red, almost ruby. Very little aroma. An OK malt drink but I’m not getting any ’oud bruin’ out of it.
Black opaque color. Not that much smell. Sweet taste with low body and low carbonation. gunnfryd (14877) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 2, 2010
Bottle. Dark brown colour with a tan head. Aroma is malt, cellar notes, prunes. Flavour is sweet, malt, cellar notes, prunes, dried fruits. Strange beer. imdownthepub (14554) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2010
Bottled, 330ml at Cafe D’Engel, Delft. Chestnut brown with cream head. Really very sweet and fizzy unfortunately, quite like malty coca cola. Nothing off, just not a beer to return to. bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 20, 2002
Very sweet. Sugar and caramel. Watery, but the finish is clean. No chicken food aftertaste like many oud bruins have.
