Bottle. Pours clear amber. Aroma is light caramalts, caramel, toasted malts, rather soft. Body is medium, sweet, softly bitter, with a lively carbonation. Flavours of the aroma continue. Palate is nutty with some sweetness. Okay.

Buttery, woody, mild hops and slightly smoky. Oily texture and a sweet (honey, maple) finish.

Bottle, Drinks of the World Cornavin. Poured a truly beatiful red amber colour, bright, one of the most brilliant reds I’ve seen. Slightly odd this, not really an aggressive modern American amber, nor a malty Ambrée, but more like a reddish pint of bitter or even a De Koninck type thing. Flavours nice but not aggressive, toasty malt, light fruity hop, hint of ester. Probably very smashable.

I took this bottle from amstein, it is a decent beer, nothing extraordinary but it is acceptable. The color is nice: red/brown and the carbonation is regular. The taste is a bit metalic, a bit watery, touch of sugar, malty, few hop, the final is bitter. It is regular regarding the price and the quality and the red ale are not the most easiest beerss to brew.
