caribou43 (1152) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - AUG 30, 2016
I bought this beer at the coop in Luzern. I drank it this week-end at Bonfol, sunny, on the terrace, just the paradise. It is a good stout, happy that in Switzerand we begin with such kind of beer. The body is a powerful black color, beautiful brown-orange foam, regular carbonation. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, hop, nice bitterness, a bit watery, easy stout to drink.

mzaar (3593) - Varberg, SWEDEN - APR 15, 2016
Väldigt väl komponerad i smakerna.

Erzengel (9338) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 9, 2016
The beers starts fresh and malty. Not too much Citra there, the body is full of dark black malt. Roasted dry aftertaste with a moderate roast-bitterness. On the tongue remains a malty roasted dark and intense flavour. Very nice, but the floral hops are way in the background under the heavy malt layer.

alethol (133) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 28, 2015
Pours pitch black with beige head. aromas: roasted malts. Taste: coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, slightly bitter. Creamy, medium-balanced. Very nice, balanced beer. Could do with slightly higher ABV to my taste.

@ Collabbrew witth Unser Bier, Basel; in this black ipa, the hops remain in the background; nose of roasted and chocolate malts, coffee, herbal edges also coming from the malts; smooth mouthfeel, quite dry, very well balanced, only hints of hops. High drinkability.
