Bottle. Seems like a bit of a mix between a german and a belgian wheat beer. Has the creaminess and a bit of bananas that you might expect from a Hefeweizen, but also is quite spritzy and has a bit of lemon and minerals in there. Little bit of sourness. A pleasant surprise as some of their other beers haven’t been for me really. czlowiekwiadro (933) - POLAND - JUN 1, 2014
porządny zapach, banany i goździki na równo, lekka guma balonowa. lekko zmętnione z ładną pianą, bardzo stylowo. w smaku rześki, lekko kwaskowy z wyraźnym bananem i goździkiem, nie za słodki. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 6, 2013
Bottle in Room, Kooruka, Okayama. Cloudy golden - white head. Banana arome, cloves, fruity, toasted notes, light flowery, citrus, orange, zesty sourish notes, light soapy. Not the best German HefeWeizen, and I don’t like the style. faroeviking (10821) - FAROE ISLANDS - APR 18, 2012
Botella bought in Okayama City. Unclear to hazy yellow colour, medium white head. Aroma of wheat and some citrus, not so strong, some sweetness and mild spice. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour has wheat and citrus, more to the average - mild side, with some fruit and sweetness, mild to medium bitterness. I suspected better. KyotoLefty (10193) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JAN 8, 2009
Bottle from Yamaoka.
60% wheat malt. Bright, cloudy, lemon yellow. Low head. Fragrant aroma of wheat malt, bananas, spice, slightly sweet, citrus but just a tiny sour edge. Smooth, crisp flavor, strong wheat malt, bananas and fruit, slight sour edge and a bit buttery. Very well balanced. Slightly tangy with a bit of citrus. Body slightly lighter than usual, crisper. Very nice overall, with good balance and no faults, though not super exciting.
