Rice Wine. Poragon Sake is produced from the finest selected rice and it is traditionally drunk warm. Doragon Sake is also an adventurous alternative to white wine or as a base for exotic cocktails. It can be enjoyed chilled or over ice. The perfect accompaniment for sushi, shellfish and seafood.

Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2016
Nearly clear shade. No head. Elements of pear, apple and vanilla in the aroma. Quite sweet and tasty mid-palate, ending a bit less interesting. Not possessing the complexity of more premium sakes, but has much more drinkability.

hrabren (1358) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUN 1, 2016
Tasting at WMBH, Zagreb. My first sake. Cloudy, no color, no head. Sugar, heavy syrup aroma. Very sweet. Some alcohol. Corn cookie wafer. Sweet finish.

SarkyNorthener (4765) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2016
Bottle from Tesco, Walsall. Clear sake, still. Aroma of vanilla, marzipan and coconut. Taste is sweetish, vanilla, some coconut water and a little alcohol warmth in the finish. Decent enough.

I am Japanese. I expected more sweet taste and good aroma. This is Karakuchi. Could you produce amakuchi too please ??

jjsint (3429) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 27, 2014
Bottle (gift) consumed at home. Colour is somewhere between water and Sauvignon Blanc. Smell of plum, peach and violet. Taste is very sweet with only a slight bitter-sour kick at the end. A real honey vanilla aftertaste. I’m no sake connoisseur by any means but this was very nice at the end of a long day.

Bottle at a ChrisO tasting - London. Pours clear, no color. Lots of sugar, vanilla frosting, rice in the nose. Pretty big, sweet and boozy - not subtle. Some rice in there, along with straight alcohol. Full bodied with creamy. Warming finish, sugary sweet. Alright, but pretty basic.
