Bottle. Best before 01.2019. Abundant gushing while opening. Huge off-white head. Stable. The colour is cloudy amber. Aroma: nice belgian yeast, minor wildness, caramel, toffee. Light to medium body. Medium dry taste. Fairly yeasty. First signs of acidic infection. Malty background. Low to light bitterness. Potentially good.

33cl bottle. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a huge good lasting beige head. Dark and medium sweet malt in the aroma, some wood, chocolate, red fruits. Taste of dark malt, mild roasted malt, chocolate, dark dried fruits, some coffee, interesting!

Keg at 6 degrees north, Edinburgh. Pours clear brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas of nuts, toffee, not much going on. Taste is more of the same. OK.

On keg at Six Degrees North, Edinburgh. Appearance - clear red brown. Some head. Nose - toffee, nuts and a tangy note. Taste - more toffee and nuts. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - good.

Too much weird yeastiness even for Belgian, seems going to Sour Red/Brown style. Otherwise rich maltiness in background, toasted caramel, nuts, licorice, overripe fruits, berries. Moderate sweetness with hints of tartness and light bitterness Still drinkable and OK, but it shouldnt be like this.

guzgorog (904) - FRANCE - JUL 15, 2016
Belle robe brune caramel, mousse blanche abondante de faible tenue. Nez "acide" : pomme verte, bois, malts torréfiés.

Aroma: mazloet skidra iesala, saldaskabas ogas, koks. Garsa: saldskaabs, zaptiigs, kaa saruudzis nefiltretais kvass.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
