UPDATED: JAN 18, 2013 Pale amber with virtually no head. Smells of lemon and ginger and light malt. Medium tangy oily body. Tastes of lemon/ lime sourness with huge dose of ginger. Seems off and lemon and sweet malt yet sour. Seems all over the place. I found it troublesome to drink. Fin (10917) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2011
Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 21.11.11 Only got to try a small amount of this but have to confess being very impressed. Looked great, good clarity, very nice looking. Decent amount of fresh ginger coming through served at a good temp’, clean, with nice clean taste but ginger adding a slight warmth. One of the better ginger beers out there. Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 29/04/2011. Golden in colour with a slight white head. Citrus fruit and ginger aroma with some sweetish malts. Flavours of lemon, root ginger and biscuit malts, with a dryish finish. A decent beer with the ginger not too dominant.
