The first couple of sips aren’t too bad, if it’s served ice-cold. Not really much of a head; dull taste. Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 16, 2002
One of the top mexican beers. Smooth flavor with a medium body. Not much aftertaste, but well balanced overall and worth a try. crdic (105) - California, USA - JUN 15, 2002
Better than the really vile American mass-market beers, but not by much. howie (549) - DeForest, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 14, 2002
UPDATED: APR 5, 2004 I wouldn't buy this normally, but it is one of the palatable Mexican beers. Fuller body than what you might expect. VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 11, 2002
Clear light copper. Thin white head. Light carbonation. Decent toasted sweet malt aroma mixed with hard water minerals. Smooth and clean. Adequate Vienna maltiness and tingly hop balance. Light bodied. Easy drinking. Slight macro taste creeps in but is tolerable. Toasty aftertaste. Finishes with a dextrin like sweetness. An overall good choice to match with Mexican food.

I like Dos Equis more than any other Mexican beer I have had. t is smooth and slightly darker than the others. Definitely worth a try. samustdog (73) - USA - JUN 8, 2002
A very fine beer that actually surpassed the Dos Equis Green. I was pleasantly surprised. Recommended. alelover99 (2) - USA - JUN 7, 2002 does not count
Good amber color, a bit more flavor than some others, but overall unexciting. sleepdirt (169) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 5, 2002
Nice copper colour...that’s all:((((( It is devoid of any flavour. theFinatUofI (45) - Colorado, USA - JUN 3, 2002
ALmost no head, a deep, brown color. Taste is bit malty with some bitterness-quite ordinary. A little bit more full-bodied than most beers similar in taste. Nothing Special - Thumbs down.
