Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

On bottle. Pours red-brown with white foam, nice carbonation. Notes of caramel, a little watery, easy to drink.

Smooth, has a nice, light bready taste, pairs well with pub grub, or solo. Not a meal in a bottle, but a nice complementary beer.

bottle. Poured deep amber with a thin creamy beige head. Sweet malty aroma, brown sugar note. Light-medium body, crisp carbonation, lingering tart finish. Medium roasted malt flavour, caramel notes, slightly metallic, a bit peppery.

This is my second favorite amber ale. I always have either this or Michelob Amberbock in the fridge.

C. Pours a clear amber color with white head. Light on flavor, slightly weird after taste.

Bottle. Dark amber with white foam. A lot of caramel in this one. Together with brown malt and bread. A nice ending.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2017 White thick head with a touch of tan in it. The body is amber in color and clear. I get subtle aromas of caramel and earth from it. It's rather bland with a finish common to Mexican beers. In my memories it's better but that's why I shouldn't write these out of memory.

A ultra clean dark amber color with a small head of light beige colored foam. Light nutty and caramel malt don’t distract from how drinkable this is.

One can only wonder what this beer would be like if it WERE brewed like the "Oktoberfest Viennese style" beer it’s supposed to emulate. Such promise-too bad.
