Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Dos XX is without a doubt a superb brew when enjoyed on a hot summer day with my feet in the sand. Best served ice cold and lots of them.

Pours up a dark amber with a nice tan head. Aroma is caramel, and light toast. Taste is pretty sweet with very mild bitters. Light bodied, smooth and goes well with most red meat and red sauce dishes. To be mass produced and readily available its a good beer.

A typical vienna lager without any significant characteristics. Works well with nachos.

Had a bunch of this on tap at an all-inclusive in Mexico. A little more malt than its pale lager sibling, but not really much more interesting.

bottled - nice amber color (which you would expect from a beer of the same name). A bit artificial tasting though.

Lagerboy (2054) - British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 19, 2015
355 ml bottle @ 5-Forty Cafe. Clear copper, lasting tan foam. Caramel mostly masks the vegetal sewage aroma and taste... mostly. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. LF (Lagerboy Friendly) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
