Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

I had it with nachos at a bar in New England. It was probably about as authentically Mexican as that bar, but it still did the trick. Better malt flavor than most lagers, and it didn’t really have too much of the skunk / sulfur flavor that sinks a lot of the macros.

Bbq beer. Does the job. A little bit more malt kick than most macro stuff. A bit skunk.

Not much on the aroma beyond a hint of caramel. Head disappears before the glass arrives at the restaurant table. Mildly sweet with a good little hop bite. Great with pork tacos.

Cerveza lager obscura de buen sabor sin nada extraordinario, se siente un amargor algo de caramelo pan tostado

Bottle with my burrito. Tasted of cold. It has a bit momre to it than regular dos equis. Maltier. As with all Mexican beer, it serves a purpose..

An okay beer not much of a bite like most Mexican beers but it goes down easy.

Bottle on American Airlines flight. Light taste, smooth, but very plain. I wouldn’t bother with this again.

12-ounce bottles. Not a bad choice for having Mexican, although I would be more likely to order the more flavorful Negra Modelo instead.

Bottle @ a Mexican restaurant Clean pale amber looking thing. Not a great deal to offer on the nose - light malt toastiness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, relatively clean. Bit more character than your average lager - touch of caramel malt is enjoyable but short lived, mild bitterness. It’s ok.

On tap at work...not bad out of the keg...more malt flavor comes out...decent brew......
