On tap, pours medium amber with thin white head. Slightly sweet aroma. Biscuity, caramel malt taste marked by an almost complete lack of hops. Not totally, but close. Aftertaste is... nothing. Not objectionable, really, just not much there. On the other hand, generally one of your better bets at Mexican places.

Smooth, has a nice, light bready taste, pairs well with pub grub, or solo. Not a meal in a bottle, but a nice complementary beer. Strangebrewer (1344) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 12, 2017
bottle. Poured deep amber with a thin creamy beige head. Sweet malty aroma, brown sugar note. Light-medium body, crisp carbonation, lingering tart finish. Medium roasted malt flavour, caramel notes, slightly metallic, a bit peppery. slyde (11) - Florida, USA - AUG 23, 2017
This is my second favorite amber ale. I always have either this or Michelob Amberbock in the fridge.
