Clear, yellow, with a small white head. Dry finish, a little spicy notes. Would be good on a hot afternoon.

Clear and golden, white head. Nose is malty. Slightly sweet with a dry finish. One of Mexico's best.

KarmanGhia (276) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 16, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2005 This is just a very plain beer. There’s nothing especially good in the taste area, and it smelled bad. There’s a lot of carbonation, and it is crisp, but it just doesn’t taste good.

I love the name of this beer....sounds like it is going to be kick ass...however, it is like all Mexican water...dirty yellow, with a not so pleasing aroma. Also like mexican water, drink enough of this and you will be up all night on the toilet.

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 11, 2004
Pale straw colour with a short head. Flat watery oily and sweaty and light malty taste. Still it was a hot night and this was easy enough to drink.

This was not good. Only thing that seperates this from BMC is the slightly malty body. Just another rating I guess. Went well with my burrito though.

surfmurf (85) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 3, 2004
This beer had a deep amber color and frothy head, but a bit weak in the firt smell as it had a bit of a skunky ardor. Overall a good Mexican brew.

I tried this while in Mexico. Like most Mexican beers, it goes down like water - minimal taste period. A decent beer if you are looking for something to drink fast to get drunk or something very light, but I don't recommend it if you are going for flavour. However, I would buy it again.

frylock (1135) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 29, 2003
Clear straw color. Burnt cereal aroma. Taste of corn and crab apples. Pretty bad, but less offensive than many macro lagers.

1.6
BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - DEC 28, 2003
Clear light sparkling appearance, quickly diminishing foam. Malt aroma, slight grain. Palate is pretty thin, fizzy with very little malt content. Dryness seems to distinguish it, while there's a slight touch of cardboard.
