If we are being honest, the only thing good about this beer is the commercial. Not a lot of positives to this beer.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2016 Poured into tumbler, nice pale beer color. Has a corny, grits-like taste. A light bodied, tasty beer.

Odeur de moufette enveloppante. Seulement buvable si elle est très froide et accompagnée d’un repas mexicain épicé.

Just like most people have said each beer has it’s place. In a frosty mug with a lime, paired with some spicy fajitas, Id give it a 10/10. But From a bottle at home, smell was a little skunky I think. If poured properly as shown in the book "Tasting Beer" by Randy Mosher, it pours well. In the right tall glass the appearance is nice. Lighter amber color, plenty of effervescence and bubbles. Taste is average, kind of weak and watery but a decent mouth feel. Overall, save it for Mexican night with friends.

Tried this for the first time 2 weeks ago. I was surprised to enjoy it as much as I did.

Originally rated on 5/28/08. pretty standard mexican beer needs lime a very cold temperatures to be drinkable, however its way better than corona but not quite as good as modelo. a very pale lager with slight taste and aroma of malt and corn.

12 oz can poured into a plastic glass on a Southwest Airlines flight. The pour is crystal clear yellow golden with a small foamy white head. The aroma is softly sweet cereal grain malt. The taste is the soft sweet cereal grain of the nose, and a bit of general earth and yeast. The palate is light to thin bodied, a touch watery and a high level of carbonation. Clean and easy enough to drink.

Poured from a bottle. Yep, eating at a typical Mexican restaurant and this is their offering. Probably some sort of revenge I guess because I would think that country has much more to offer than this. I save these for the relatives that are afraid of hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle during a trip to USA. Pours with a clear yellow/gold body and a white head. Aroma is grainy, malty, and yeasty. Quite sweet, little bitterness. Light body, average carbonation, with a slightly creamy texture.

Pours bright golden color and brilliant clarity, thin head files right out revealing doughy wet straw aroma. Taste flat lifeless watery mouthfeel finishes dry and skunked. Best of the mexican american factory beer.
