I used to really like this beer at first, until I tried the Amber lager and I realized this was essentially just a watered-down version of the originally dark and full-bodied Dos Equis. Now I can't go back. This is still decent for a pale lager, but not exceptional. Always had a bit of a funky aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 6/16/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, corn, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice balance and solid robustness of pale malt, corn, and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing, minimal dryness. Medium carnation and light body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/doughy/grainy mouthfeel that is good. A bit watery feeling, but not bad. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a good Adjunct lager style. All around good balance and solid robustness of pale malt and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Nicely flavorful for the low ABV. Clean pils malt/corn flavors, with just enough balancing hop presence. A nicely enjoyable, well made offering; and good style example.

ahh yeasty water of yore, you have a guy with a beard who lies about stuff he did and that makes you what exactly? oh yeah, a mediocre lager ::sick burn::. The aroma is corn farts and the appearance is frat pee clear yellow. The taste is slightly beerish water, the sort of thing you get when its free and/or all the other options are total crap. It is drinkable and not unpleasant, but lacks much to recommend. Good for a weekend trip after party 300 movie watching two night duology of chaos with boo boo butt.

25 oz can. Scents of malt and corn. Taste follows the nose. More character than the average lager but only a small amount more.

Thought for sure I rated this years ago. Pours a clear pale golden with a so-so white head. Aroma is all grain. Taste is sweet pale malt, boiled corn and virtually no hop bitterness. Blah, but it is refreshing.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2017 Only problem I have with this beer is the price of it. I love sitting in the pool with a bottle next to me while I float.

Got this one free one from my team captain. The price was right. A very common beer. Not par with the great micro one.

C-. Pours a clear golden color with white head. Skunky flavor, at least there isn’t much flavor
