Better than Corona, without all the overpriced hype. A very drinkable lager, but nothing special.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2018 Bottle at a Mexican restaurant. Pours clear pale gold with no head. High carbonation. No aroma. Tastes a bit like soda water with a dash of lemon. No discernible flavour. More sweet than anything. Bitterness not detectable. Not objectionable but nothing really. Was cold though.

I use the Beer Buddy app to discover, catalog and rate beers. I used to love this app BEFORE the latest update that forces you to login and even more annoying is you are now forced to write a MINIMUM 75 CHARACTER COMMENT in order to save and upload a beer rating. In most cases I simply don't have 75 characters of comments, thus this canned response. My apologies to all beer lovers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle pours a golden color with a bit of white head. Hardly any flavor. Not even enjoyable ice cold on a hot day.

Easy drinking. Sorta like a Tecate light slightly more of a quality taste. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 6/16/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, corn, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread dough, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice balance and solid robustness of pale malt, corn, and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing, minimal dryness. Medium carnation and light body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/doughy/grainy mouthfeel that is good. A bit watery feeling, but not bad. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a good Adjunct lager style. All around good balance and solid robustness of pale malt and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Nicely flavorful for the low ABV. Clean pils malt/corn flavors, with just enough balancing hop presence. A nicely enjoyable, well made offering; and good style example.

ahh yeasty water of yore, you have a guy with a beard who lies about stuff he did and that makes you what exactly? oh yeah, a mediocre lager ::sick burn::. The aroma is corn farts and the appearance is frat pee clear yellow. The taste is slightly beerish water, the sort of thing you get when its free and/or all the other options are total crap. It is drinkable and not unpleasant, but lacks much to recommend. Good for a weekend trip after party 300 movie watching two night duology of chaos with boo boo butt.
