COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a lacerative muther of a beer. The evil big brother of Arrogant Bastard Ale. It is strongly suggested you stay far, far away from this beer. Those foolish enough to venture close enough to taste will experience a punishingly unforgiving assault on the palate. Course theres always the masochists...

2011 bottle. Deep amber with two finger head. Its every bit as harsh as youd expect from the name. But also, quite delicious. Pretty substantial malt base with huge hoppiness and booze.

22oz. bottle filled from a 2012 keg. Pour is a slightly hazy burnt orange with a small off white head. Very sweet nose, feels like a cross between a barleywine and a dark belgian. Notes of candi sugar, sweet caramel, dark fruits, very citrusy hops, noticeable alcohol on the nose, and a nice biscuity malt note. Huge citrusy hops that have hardly faded away up front on the taste, then it goes to a plum and cherry sweetness, theres an almost chocolatey taste there, nice piney notes, and a somewhat sticky syrupy taste. Very tasty beer, and even after a year it is still very very aggressive.

Pours a very hazy dark honey color with a thin vanilla head. Smells similar to a barley wine. Spices. Slightly boozy. Taste is sweet. Boozy finish with a bitter fruit aftertaste

Hazy dark amber pour on draft at Republic. Thick off white head. Malty nose. Big sweet taste, lots of hops and a big bitterness in the finish. Really nice. Big and kick ass for sure.

14th March 2014, large bottle at a barbeque in Newport Beach, bought and took the bottle myself and didnt share it! Aggressive little bugger isnt it. Hops full on in the mouth, yet it has a sweeter maltier nose: bitter in flavour with a definite Barley wine undertone. A fine beer in all aspects.

Good beer. Very malty. Strong. Thick head with a great brown color. Starts and ends strong. Like a loaf of bead. At 11.2% it gets your attention. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At Justins house warming party. Pours murky brown with white lacing. Aroma is cardboard, nice molasis figs, on the complex side. Taste, is as expected. Its a very nice barleywine, just not my style.
