This is a lacerative muther of a beer. The evil big brother of Arrogant Bastard Ale. It is strongly suggested you stay far, far away from this beer. Those foolish enough to venture close enough to taste will experience a punishingly unforgiving assault on the palate. Course theres always the masochists...

Pours a medium to dark golden brown color. Three-finger head of light tan foam. Great retention and sticky, clumpy lacing. Not a whole lot in the smell department. Light hints of sweet malts and some floral and citrus hops notes. Light caramel presence, but mostly hops. Hey, what do you know? A beer from Stone thats actually getting close to being balanced. The hops still dominate, as usual, but its closer. This has an underlying sweet malty profile that, for once, is actually putting up a good effort to get noticed. Mild caramel and sweet malt taste. Pine and grapefruit notes. Slight bitterness. Not nearly as harsh as Arrogant Bastard. Smooth and basically creamy. Just a slight touch of sharpness. Nice lower medium level of carbonation. I have to say that, being from Stone (who I actually like, despite how it may sound), this is a pretty darn drinkable beer. I find most of their brews to be way out of balance, but this one goes down pretty smooth. At this point in time, this would be my go-to beer from Stone.

Tap at Pizza Luce. Deep orange with white head. Caramel, alcohol, orange pulp, grapefruit and pine sap. Medium caramel sweetness quickly overcome with a resiny, citrus bitterness. Medium body with a soapy feel.

Caramel, candied sugar, dried fruits, earthy hops. Bittersweet, oily mouth feel, moderate carbonation. Pine resin, slightly astringent, dry. Probably shouldve consumed it much fresher (bottled 09/09/15) but lingered in fridge due to bottle size & high ABV. Powerful (though feels like less abv) and packed with flavor but unlikely to buy again due to 650ml bottle size - A LOT of beer for one evening!

The aroma of yeast and raisins. The taste is alcohol, yeast, raisins and honey. Very bitter aftertaste that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. It gets better when it gets warmer. Follow me @ Kung av l @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Pours a dark ruby/red color with lots of sediments floating around and medium tan head with long duration. Aroma has caramel, toffee, resin, citrus and pine. Taste follows the aroma, toffee, caramel, citrus, resin, pine drops, bread and spices. Alcohol is really well hidden. Intense bitterness in the aftertaste. Really nice brew!
