A: Mahogany body, huge cappuccino due to the nitro.
N: Cocoa, espresso, sour coffee, earth, grass, straw, and heavy ash. Peppercorns and pine needles.
T: Quite bitter. Lightly sweet.
M: Light body, foamy carbonation, no alcohol.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with creamy beige head that lasts. The aroma is cracker malt and roast. Medium mouth, roasted malt, dark chocolate, cracker, light dryness, good.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a dense beige head. The aroma has lots of chocolate, smooth roast, and is pretty big and rich for a 4% beer. It has a medium / light body with very soft carbonation. The flavor starts with cocoa, minor char, licorice and woody hops. The finish is woody and roasty. Pretty nice. The taste is black coffee, roasted malt and burnt wood. Dark and deep.
The texture is smooth with low carbonation.

Pours a deep brown color with a roasted malt aroma. Taste is choco and unfortunately burnt malt. The burnt roasted malt flavor seemed to overwhelm this beer. Deep coco flamed malt lingers on the palate.
