Spring cleaning notes. Tap at pub pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is coffee, heavy roast malts, some dark chocolate, and a touch of hops. Tap @ Holiday Ale Fest... Poured deep, almost black. Roasty and clean. Straight ahead, great example of a roast lager. Faint hops and a lot of coffee and roast from those darker malts.
