COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Created in honor of Bacchus, the Roman God of Intoxication, this beer is big and chocolaty, with a roasty, malty flavor, a light beige head and a crisp finish. The Czech lager yeast keeps it all smooth and clean. All hail Bockus!

Spring cleaning notes. Tap at pub pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is coffee, heavy roast malts, some dark chocolate, and a touch of hops. Taste is just as the nose but more cocoa, coffee, and some smoke.I think they hit what they were after on this one.

Tap at Holiday Ale Fest. Dark brow pour, tan head. Roast, smoke, caramel, chocolate, light earthen hop notes. Tasty brew, great name.

Tap @ Holiday Ale Fest... Poured deep, almost black. Roasty and clean. Straight ahead, great example of a roast lager. Faint hops and a lot of coffee and roast from those darker malts.
