From a bottle courtesty of Charlie:
Pours pink and slightly hazy without much of a head. Aroma is quite sour and full of cherry as well as some fresh grain aroma. Flavor is moderate sourness with a nice wheaty fresh flavor throughout. Dry finish with a light body. I am going to re-rate this on the next release. It’s not finished yet.
Sampled on tap at PIB, pours a pinkish red / amber with a small beige head. Aroma of sour cherries above anything, some sweetness shines through as well. Flavour of tart cherries, more sourness, and yet more sourness - very intense - not much else to describe. The sourness is very puckering, lingering on the finish. Definitely delivering its promise. Good in small doses. Alphadelic (2237) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 20, 2011
The ’08 at Puckerfest. The cherry flavour is deep, juicy and very rich. This a very smooth beer, from its claret looks to it’s mouthwatering tingles of sharp fruit, syrupy juice and savoury wooded notes. I only got a smidgeon toward the end of the barrel and if there is any more out there, find it. stchloe (1067) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Yum, I am really appreciating Sour beers. This is a great sour, that has a sweetish body, and a final cheery finish, amazing and good. And its a beautiful ruby color ditmier (1508) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Handbottle courtesy of my boys inflatablehair and Buckeyeboy - Thanks guys!! Pours a deep ruby red with a small pink head...aroma is massively fruity, nicely tart pie cherries, some medicinal footy funk, lactic wood...flavour is similar, tart and woody, tons of fruit, too easy to drink and abv is invisible...tasty!! riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 16, 2009
Nose of bing cherries, light barrel wood, belgian sugars maybe, a hint tart and funky. Reddish pour. No head. Cherry up front, sweet, a little funky then wood on the back end. A little dry, a little cherry, and a little funk in the finish. Vibrant carbonation, lighter bodied. No hint of 9 percent, cherry flavor is a little medicinal to me.

Draft at Naked City. Pours a clear watered down looking cherry koolaid with a thin pinkish white head. Up front, it is a wet blanket, slightly tart pie cherry going on with some medicinal wet corkiness. Really, a pretty enjoyable an inviting nose. The palate though falls a little short of the nose. Thin, not very much cherry or tartness and I think the pilsner malt is really what is not working for me. It just adds a grainy wheatiness that seems to work against the cherries. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2009

Tulip at the brewpub. Poured a very light red, nearly pink with a thin white head. Aroma was much sweeter than I anticipated, nice cherry smell, mild bit of sourness. Flavor was also pretty sweet, nice juicy cherry with a mild sour finish. Pretty tasty beer. MI2CA (1340) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - SEP 15, 2009
Tulip at Dbl Mtn - Aroma is loaded with sweet cherries and malt. Flavor is malty sweet cherry with a sour finish. Palate is smooth and tart. Dangerously hides the 9%. An easy drinking sour. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 11, 2009
Tap @ Belmont Station... Poured red with a white head. Spiced, tart and sour aroma, the usual from the sour. Great palate, a little less dry than expected. Mild cherry notes, fresh and earth. Candy sugars like jolly ranchers. Finished sweet and sour.
