Creamy yellowish head atop a highly carbonated bronze coloured body. Nose of decent PNW hops. Very biting with hop bitterness, very floral and nail polish. Decent. WheatKing (1351) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - MAR 5, 2014
Bottle. Pours cloudy light amber, nice off-white head. Nose is grapefruit, a lot of crystal malt. Crystal malt also muffles the flavour, some citrus there too. Sticky. Crystal bomb. Gerbeer (4217) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 16, 2014
500 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with moderate head. Aromas of rubber erasers, pine, and toasted malts. Flavors of grapefruit, brown sugar, and heavy tropical fruit. Full bodied and heavy, but easy to drink. Very nice. mcberko (20289) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 11, 2014
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear orange amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is fairly subtle, with fruity notes, citrus hops and some bready caramel malt. Flavour is also rather restrained for a strong ale, with similar notes as on the nose - bready caramel upfront, followed by mellow floral hops, and some light fruitiness. Not the most complex, but rather nice as well. thegreenrooster (4667) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 8, 2014
Pour is a hazy copper with an average white head. Aroma is a sticky, dank hop with decent caramel malt back round. Flavor is again heavy on the dank hops but even more of the sweet chewy malts show up. Finish has some oily hop resin left on the tongue along with some dark bready malt. Pretty good winter warmer especially with the nice mix of oily hops and chewy malt.

Bottle. Pours a fairly hazy amber color with a moderate off-white head when poured fairly aggressively. Nose is definitely hop forward with some floral tones to it. Taste is fairly bitter, with some bits of toastiness to it. Actually, pretty drinkable. fiulijn (21537) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 31, 2013
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouverjgb9348 (6654) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Cloudy amber color with small head. Dusty caramel (aroma and flavor), with light fermentation fruitiness (this is positive), strong bitterness, some hop resins.
Not bad, but dirty.
Crisp amber and copper coloured body with a bronze glow and a nice, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright earthy and pale hops with a strong yeast and bread note, a good amount of caramel and toffee and a hint of fruits near the end. Medium to Full-bodied; Chewy piney and floral hop notes up front with a good earthy and toffee backbone of caramel malt and a structured, defined hop finish and a good sweetness tucked with some bitterness and a very syrupy finish. Aftertaste is quite complex with sugars, malt, alcohol and a lot of hoppiness around - very nice. Overall, a well structured and complex beer with a good body and some smooth bitter flavours throughout. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Made in Oregon in Portland (PDX Terminal D), Oregon on 08-December-2013 for US$8.99 sampled just seven days later on 15-December-2013 at home in Washington. On tap @ Noble Fir. Pours dark orange amber with thin white head. Aroma is oaky malt and spicy hops. Taste is big oaky caramel malt with sharply bitter hops. Notes of earthy pine dominate the finish. Tasty, but without any real standout flavors. Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 1, 2013
Pours slightly hazy orange, three finger white fluffy head.
Smell fruity citrus hops, grapefruit
Taste oily sticky grapefruit hops, bit of pine on tail
Light to mid body
Not bad, reminds me of SN Celebration.
