Pours a clear red beer with a white head. Smells hoppy, malty, piny. Tastes bitter. Leaves a big malty and hoppy palate. Tastes great!

Bosskie (882) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 28, 2015
Opaque red brown beer with a thick yellowish head. Some fine yeast floating around. Smell is caramel sweetness with some alcohol bitterness and fruity sourness. Fresh cheese. Hint of honey and leather. Maybe some cherries. Taste is bitter sweet watery, very nicely balanced. Malty alcohol, quite a full mouth, bit of cheese, dry astringent finish, but quite gentle. Peels at the end.

50 cl bottle. Bottled on 03.12.2014.
Pours clear red color with a large head. Loads of resin on the nose, malts, some caramel notes, mild hops and some sweet tropical fruits, some cardboardy notes also as this is not that fresh anymore. Sweet resinous hops and caramel malts on the flavor, subtle gooseberries, orange and some mandarin. Bitter palate with a sweet malt-fruity finish. Sadly not so fresh anymore, decent still.

Bottle. Light amber, hazy, average to large and mostly lasting head. Moderate to full, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish aroma, some caramel - light bread, light - some tropical fruitiness with light -some grapefruit/citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light - some caramel - light bread with light tropical fruitiness, light - some grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and faint bread, light tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit - light citrus hoppyness. Caramel sweetness IPA with notes of bread. Way too sweet and too much caramel for me. Could use more bitterness. Nice head though.

Had it on tap on brewers special, it is decently hoppy. Hits you in the face right away and has a nice lingering and aftertaste. The color is ruby red and the smell is sexy
