Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Clear dark orange to amber color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is again -as this brewery has disappointed me several times now- quite faint. Taste lightly malts, hops, a light touch of resin, decently bitter. Decent body and carbonation. 500 ml bottle. Unclear reddish brown, tan foam settles and mostly fades. Spicy fruity caramel aroma. Taste is spicy fruity piney hop forward, thinner toasty caramel malt, a bit lean but still resinous. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, well hopped. NFL (Not For Lagerboys) reetron (18) - Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 26, 2014
Pretty heady pour. Piney hops, heavy in the back of the throat but not a massive aroma. Ok balance but I like bigger flavor. It was ok. Ninkasi blows this one flat. osu97gp (678) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 21, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy pale red orange with an initial large off-white head. Aroma of malts and light pine and floral hops. Flavor sweet caramel malts and quite a bit of both grapefruit and pine hops.
