Fresh hop version on draught with 95 IBU. Amber colour, rather too dark for an IPA with white head. Light aroma, less than you'd expect with a nice evergreen note. Restrained flavour, doesn't taste as hoppy as it says. Over the tongue finish. RobBestwick (972) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 13, 2017
Bottle. Fresh lemon/lime hop and spice aroma. Pours golden with a small yellowish head and moderate carbonation. Sharp hoppy flavour with some bread malt notes. Medium body with some warming alcohol sensation. Long bitter finish. Very good. marcus (10753) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 18, 2016
Bottle shared by oRos. Pours golden with a thick off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor with a moderately bitter finish. A nice "fresh hop" brew with an especially nice malt bill. Easy to drink. UXO (1922) - CANADA - DEC 13, 2016
Appearance: hazy pale amber with two fingers of rocky ivory head, excellent retention and heavy lacing. (5/5) Aroma: resiny pine, mint, caramel malt, citrus zest. (8/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium slightly oily body, moderate carbonation, off-dry lingering bitter finish. (4/5) vandc01 (445) - North Branch, USA - DEC 13, 2016
Killer? Check. Green? Well… not so much. Oh, wait, is “minty” the same as “green”? I think one could argue that. OK, then, that’s that. Again. (Yes, I’m trying to be cute. Not working, is it? Fine, I think I like this one slightly better than the Red. Can’t be arsed to write any more, except to note that there’s no way this is 97 IBU. Oh, and did their 2014 writeup really say “kind herb”? SRSLY? Who let these hippies loose, anyway? Yes, I’m aware I’m still writing. Done now.) (17/20)
500ML bottle poured at home bottling date of 09/27/16.

Malt forward IPA, with a cherry-like aftertaste.
Tap at Double Mountain, PDX Oakes (19027) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 3, 2016
A: Dark caramel-red in color with a cappuccino head.
N: Pineapple, pine, grapefruit, bracken, earth, orange zest, toffee, papaya, lemon rind, and ginger.
T: Nicely bitter, sweet, and fruity.
M: Medium, dry body, slightly resinous, crisp carbonation, no alcohol.
O: Really nice fresh hop. Damp and fruity. One of the best IPAs from Double Mountain, by far.
Amber. Bright. Thin head. Bit of bubblegum pops from the aroma. Sweet on the palate, again phenols, touch of bitterness but more malty and phenolic. Never really comes together, and certainly is a let down as an IPA. On revisit what first came across as phenols was really more orangey. bnoel09 (588) - Elk Grove, California, USA - OCT 28, 2016
Bottled 9/27/16. Poured into a snifter. Deep amber color with a cream colored head. Aroma has a touch of caramel malt with a strong hop note - herbal and resinous. Flavor has very light malt notes with a strong hop presence with some citrusy and herbal qualities. Medium bodied with mild bitterness. Overall a very nice IPA. Capa (3500) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - OCT 25, 2016
2016 vintage. Copper with a white head. Citrus and floral notes with a decent malt backbone. Soft bitterness profile. Faint earthy and pine notes. Full flavored IPA with a more restrained bitterness, which aides its drinkability. Quite nice. jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 20, 2016
Pours a golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma of big piney hop bitterness, big malt to back it up. Taste follows with a big alcohol burn
